Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is located in the Teton Mountains of Wyoming. Paul McCollister opened Jackson Hole in 1963 and was a true pioneer of the ski industry.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has earned the honour, as determined by Ski Magazine readers, as the #1 resort in North America for 2014.

In December 2008 Big Red, a new 100 passenger tram replaced the original aerial tram. Big Red will take you from the village to the summit in approximately 9 minutes. This allows Jackson Hole Mountain Resort the bragging rights to the longest continuous vertical in the United States.

The Teton High-Speed Quad Chairlift with its vertical rise of 1600ft/488m installed for the 2015/16 winter season will provide access to the steep terrain of Granite Canyon and offer a serious challenge for strong intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders.

On the Slopes

  • Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is comprised of 2 mountains, Apres Vous and Rendezvous and continually receives high rankings for the most challenging steep and deep terrain.
  • Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has 7 bowls - Rendezvous, Tensleep, Casper, Cheyenne, Bernie’s, Laramie and Saratoga, which are well positioned across the mountain. There is 1 additional bowl named Cody Bowl that has limited access through gates only and should only be tackled by advanced enthusiasts.
  • Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has terrain to match any ability level and runs such as Moran, Werner, Sundog, and Camp Ground will bring a smile to the intermediate group of skiers and snowboarders.
  • Want more of a challenge then check out Rendezvous Bowl and follow the Rendezvous Trail to the Hoback region and enjoy this open terrain.
  • At the summit, the legendary Corbet’s Couloir is the spot for advanced or expert skiers and snowboarders to create lasting memories, particularly on a powder day.
  • Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is home to the only Burton Stash parks in the Rockies. Stash Parks take advantage of all that is natural, from the terrain, local wood plus creative elements.

Off the Slopes

  • The village at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a pedestrian friendly setting for individuals and families and offers a great selection of options to shop, stay, dine and relax.
  • There are many off mountain activities to enjoy including snowmobiling, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing. Also check out the Kids Ranch, located in the Cody House, which offers activities for children ages 6 months to 17 years.
  • Complimentary Mountain Tours are offered for intermediates at 9:30am and 1:00pm meeting in front of Walk Festival Hall.
  • The town of Jackson is located a short distance away and offers a truly western atmosphere, complete with shopping, dining, and lodging choices. This is a fun option to spend on a day away from the slopes.
