The Summit at Snoqualmie is located on Snoqualmie Pass and the drive to the Summit at Snoqualmie will take about an hour as you head east of Seattle, Washington on Interstate 90. This expansive ski area offers alpine skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing, and winter tubing.

The Summit at Snoqualmie ski area is comprised of 4 base areas, Alpental, Summit East, Summit Central and Summit West. Each of the base areas is connected by an inter-mountain shuttle service that is free to everyone. And one lift ticket is all you need to visit all of the ski areas. There are also 541 acres of terrain available for skiing and snowboarding under the lights.

Summit East, Central and West, are connected to each other by a series of trails that seamlessly link all levels of skiers to each of the 3 areas. As an option you can enjoy the comfort of the shuttle service, which stops at key points at the base of each area.

Alpental is a short drive away, on the opposite side of Interstate 90 and can be reached via an underpass, which takes you under the highway to ski area. As an option, the inter-mountain shuttle also services Alpental. No need to worry about moving your vehicle from one side to the other, just park it and get out and have fun!

Whether it is hitting the slopes after a fresh snowfall or on a sunny day, the terrain will provide a challenge to all levels of ability, whether you are snowboarding or skiing.

When planning a trip to The Summit at Snoqualmie, whether it’s a single day or a longer stay, make sure you consult the hours of operation and the days of the week that the 4 ski areas are open. We suggest you use one of our helpful links below to get the most out of your stay.

Although not mountainside, there are lodging options on Snoqualmie. Please keep in mind that if you choose this option you’ll need to walk, drive or take the shuttle.

Even thought it falls outside of our “Nearby Lodging Guidelines” we suggest you checkout the town of Cle Elum as a great lodging option. Cle Elum is a quaint town, East of the ski area, located just off of Interstate 90. Escape2ski stayed there while skiing at The Summit at Snoqualmie and found it to be a real gem. If you need a day away from the slopes, Cle Elum is a great place to stroll, dine and shop.

At Escape2ski you’ll find out – What to know…before the snow.
