Snowmass Ski Resort near Aspen, Colorado and Escape2ski connect you to skiing, snowboarding, snow reports, trail maps, lift tickets, lodging and webcams. The resort is located in the Roaring Fork Valley, within the White River National Forest of Colorado. After several years of construction to build this new ski resort, it opened on Dec 17, 1967. Unlike many other ski areas in the region, Snowmass Ski Resort was not built on the base of a left over mining town that had served its time, but constructed as a vision for a complete ski resort facility, complete with lifts, terrain and a mountain village. Snowmass Ski Resort is the largest of the four areas that are known within the skiing and snowboarding circles, simply as Aspen/Snowmass.

At Escape2ski you’ll find out – What to know…before the snow.
