Sipapu Ski Resort in New Mexico and Escape2ski connect you to skiing, snowboarding, snow reports, trail maps, lift tickets, lodging and webcams. Sipapu Ski Resort is located southeast of the town of Taos, New Mexico. Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort has grown from the early days in 1952 when Lloyd and Olive Bolander founded the resort to a quaint four-season vacation spot that is the oldest resort in the state of New Mexico. Sipapu Ski Resort is situated along side a quiet stretch of road in the Sangre Cristo Mountains and Carson National Forest. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy some old-fashioned friendliness and forget about life for a while, Sipapu Ski Resort is just what you are looking for. While Escape2ski visited this resort one February day, we were entertained by a snowstorm that added beautiful powder snow to the slopes, along with a thunder and lightning storm, all at the same time. This made for a most amazing and unforgettable day. The Resort truly prides itself on being a welcoming family- friendly resort that strives to make family getaways affordable. There is also a full service ski and snowboard shop at the base of the mountain.

At Escape2ski you’ll find out – What to know…before the snow.
