Silver Star Mountain Resort is located in the Monashee Mountains of British Columbia with it’s origins dating back to the early 1930’s when construction of the road leading to ski area started. The resort has earned several awards over the years, ranging from the “Best Small Resort in North America” to one of the best family-friendly resorts in all of Canada.

The village at the base of Ski Silver Star Mountain Resort offers a cozy and intimate pedestrian style for everyone to feel welcome. The Resort has grown by leaps and bounds over the years to become a resort that offers a wide range of activities, both on and off the slopes. This is truly a gem of a resort for everyone to come and experience.

On the Slopes

  • Silver Star Mountain Resort has two mountain faces and four distinct areas, Vance Creek, Silver Woods, Attridge, and Putman Creek.
  • The Rock Star terrain park spread over 16 acres, with jumps, tabletops, rails and many more features is a great place to learn, improve your skills and most of all have some fun.
  • The front face of Silver Star Mountain Resort has a great collection of beginner and intermediate terrain. The runs of F.I.S and Milky Way off the Comet Express will delight anyone of immediate ability. Want an easier way to descend the mountain, check out Far Out and Sundance.
  • If you are looking for something more adventurous, Putman Creek region will provide you with a steep fall-line and moguls that will be of a challenge to most. If you require an even greater challenge, try the Attridge face after a snowfall.
  • Heli-skiing in the Monashee Mountains operated by Kingfisher Heli-skiing can be arranged through Silver Star Mountain Resort.

Off the Slopes

  • The village at Silver Star Mountain Resort is themed after an early 1900's mining town, and there are many bars, restaurants and shops that make up the charming main street.
  • The Village offers approximately 10 hotels and more than 100 vacation homes and condos and all accommodation in the village is linked by the modern lift system and is ski-in ski-out.
  • Silver Star Mountain Resort features many non-mountain activities including a skating pond, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, tube park, bowling, indoor climbing, and 55 km of cross-country skiing, including 4km with lights.

  • Sliver Star Mountain Resort makes it easy to get around using the In-Resort Shuttle that operates throughout the Knoll, Firelight, and village areas. General operating hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm.
