Mt Spokane Ski Area and Escape2ski connect you to skiing, snowboarding, snow reports, trail maps, lift tickets, lodging and webcams. Mt Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park is a fixture in the local Spokane community. Members of a local ski club first organized skiing on the mountain back in the 1930’s. The mountain is part of the Selkirk Range and is located inside Mount Spokane State Park.

Mt Spokane Ski Area is located only 28mi/45km from downtown Spokane, which makes the peaceful drive through the surrounding farmland less than an hour from Spokane and surrounding areas.

Mt Spokane Ski Area offers parking lot shuttles to get you a step closer to the slopes. The mountain trails are wide and long with a mogul or two to keep you challenged and will definitely give your legs a good workout. On a clear day whether you are at the summit or winding your way down one of the 40+ trails you’ll have an incredible view of the Spokane Valley.

Mt Spokane Ski Area has several day lodges, a free ski check, as well as a gift shop. Nearby lodging for Mt Spokane can be found in the city of Spokane. Although this local falls outside of our 20mi/33km lodging guidelines, we thought it was worthwhile sharing this information with you just in case you are in need accommodations after enjoying a day on the slopes.

On Escape2ski’s visit to the mountain, we had the good fortune to meet with a local, long-time skier of Mt Spokane who offered us an amazing tour of the entire mountain. The tour, combined with the uncrowded slopes provided us with memories that will last a lifetime.
