Mont Tremblant Ski Resort is family-friendly and located north of Montreal in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec. The ski resort is not to be confused with the City of Mont Tremblant that is located 13km/8mi from the mountain.

The Ski Resort was the idea of Joseph Ryan, a Philadelphia explorer who was visiting the region. After standing at the summit, he had the idea that this would make a great location for a ski area and on Feb 12, 1939, Mont Tremblant Ski Resort opened for business with a few runs. Feb 12, 2014 marked the 75thanniversary for the resort.
