Medina Bros Splitboarding season started out slow, but then in January, Seth and Chadd Medina finally got some decent snow and got absolutely dumped on. Followed by a couple more dry months, we received a lot more snow in March and April. Nonetheless, it was a really amazing season. We hit some old zones as well as explored some new ones. The Medina Bros Splitboarding season included visits to Jones Pass, Rollins Pass, Berthoud Pass, St. Vrain as well as RMNP. Colorado never seems to disappoint, even if the season doesn’t look very optimistic. One of stops was Berthoud Pass, which is popular with skiers, snowboarders and backcountry enthusiasts during the winter season. The pass has an elevation of 11,307ft/3446m, is located west of Denver and is the current route of US Highway 40. Jones Pass, Colorado with an elevation of 12,454ft/3796m is another destination that crosses the Continental Divide in the Front Range.
