Magic Mountain Ski Area in Vermont and Escape2ski connect you to skiing, snowboarding, snow reports, trail maps, lift tickets, lodging, lessons and webcams. Magic Mountain Ski Area is located near the town of Londonderry, Vermont in Windham County. Magic Mountain is located in the beautiful countryside setting of Londonderry, Vermont on Glebe Mountain. The origins of the nearby town of Londonderry date back to the 1700’s when it became a base for farming and industry. Magic Mountain was established in 1960, by Hans Thorner, a Swiss-born ski instructor, who in1962 he saw his dream realized as skiers made use of the first chairlift installed on the mountain. It was an exciting time in the history of the community as it was starting to establish itself as a winter recreation destination that offered some of the most diverse terrain in the region. Fast-forward to today and Magic Mountain prides itself on being a great place to visit, with a family-friendly environment, great terrain and spectacular views from the slopes. Unique to Magic Mountain is the Magic Alpine Training Center where Race and Freeskiing programs are available for children 8 to 18 years old who are interested in learning the techniques need to compete in alpine racing and freeskiing.

At Escape2ski you’ll find out – What to know…before the snow.
