Manning Park Resort is looking for a dynamic and creative thinking Accommodations Manager to assist in leading and developing our Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to their fullest. Reporting to the General Manager, the Accommodations Manager is an individual willing to get into the trenches when necessary to meet our guests needs and not be afraid to lead by example. In addition to working closely with members of their team and all Resort managers, the Accommodations Manager will help set and uphold exceptional guest service standards, policies and procedures throughout our Resort. Our Accommodations Manager must also enjoy utilizing the recreational opportunities surrounding us.
Manning Park Resort is a 4-season, full-service family resort, located approximately 45 minutes east of Hope, BC. Located in iconic E.C. Manning Provincial Park, we offer downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, camping, watersports, fishing, over 300km of hiking trails, mountain biking and much more.

Experience with a successful business acumen for the daily operations of our Front Desk and Housekeeping departments
Fundamental knowledge of the outdoor recreation and hospitality sectors within the tourism industry is an asset
Experience in ski area management is beneficial
Skill sets to ensure a high-quality guest experience as it relates to our mottos of “Super Service with a Smile” and “Fresh Air Experiences”
Abilities to create optimal profitability though competent budgeting practices and optimizing room/yield revenue through complimentary strategies to traditional and potential markets
Analytical abilities to identify areas of opportunity and increased operational efficiencies
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment
An ability to cultivate strong and effective working relationships with Resort managers and staff
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A diploma or degree in Tourism & Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education is an asset
Minimum of three years management experience, preferably in a tourism or guest service setting
