The resort is located on the west side of the Teton Range in Alta, Wyoming. This quaint ski and snowboarding resort is tucked away on its own within the mountains high above the Valley below and offers a true mountain experience. If you want to be one with nature, but enjoy all the comforts of home, Grand Targhee Resort is the place to be. Grand Targhee Resort opened on December 26, 1969 with just two lifts and two lodges: Fast forward to 1997 and the installation of The Dreamcatcher, its first High-Speed Quad Chairlift, now the resort hosts 5 lifts to whisk you to its uncrowded slopes.
