Cherry Peak Ski Resort in Richmond, Utah, and Escape2ski connect you to skiing, snowboarding, snow reports, trail maps, lift tickets, lodging, and webcams. Cherry Peak Ski Resort is possibly the first new ski resort built in the United States in over 25 years.

The vision of John Chadwick a long-time resident of Utah, who with the support of his family, decided to build a truly family-friendly ski resort in the mountains near Richmond Utah on land the family has owned for over 40 years. After several years of planning, design, and regulatory hurdles, Cherry Peak Ski Resort opened to the public on December 21, 2015, with a beautiful 14,000 square foot day lodge, two Triple Chairlifts, and a magic carpet. Cherry Peak Ski Resort also offers a huge beginners area for skiing and snowboarding and a two-lane tubing center, to put a smile on everyone’s face.

The resort earned its name from the mountain peak at the back of the resort known as Cherry Peak. Even though Cherry Peak Ski Resort is new, it does come with some built-in history as its chairlifts were purchased from the well-known ski resorts of Whistler Blackcomb, Sun Valley Resort, and Squaw Valley Ski Resort. In addition to the great skiing in the winter, Cherry Peak offers concerts, mountain biking and place for special events, such as weddings during the summer.
