Canyons Village at Park City is located east of Salt Lake City, Utah and a short drive west of the city of Park City, Utah. The mountain area originally opened as Park City West in 1968. Over the last few decades it has undergone several name changes, in 2010 the current name Canyons Resort was born. The Resort has transformed from its humble beginnings to earn a Top 10 Ranking in Ski Magazine’s 2012 and 2013 editions of the Top 50 Resorts in North America.  This has been achieved through continuous improvements and innovation, such as being the first mountain resort in North America to have a high-speed quad chair with heated seats.

Choosing where to Ski and Snowboard in the Park City Region has taken a huge leap forward as Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons Village at Park City (formerly Canyons Resort) are being connected via the new 8 passenger cabins on the high-speed Quick Silver Gondola. The gondola with an estimated 8.5 minutes of travel time is situated near the bottom of the Silverlode Express chairlift on Park City Mountain Resort and travels to the top of Iron Mountain at Canyons Village at Park City. The excitement that both of these great areas offer in the way of both on and off the mountain through their terrain and base area villages will keep you coming back for more.

Park City Mountain Resort has now established itself as America’s largest ski resort with over 300 total trails, 41 lifts and 7300 total acres of skiable terrain.
