On the Slopes

  • The mountain has over 40 runs with the longest being over 2mi/3km in length. It has an uphill capacity of 4975 people per hour so you’ll have lots of time to enjoy the slopes. Don’t forget to stop on your descent to the base to enjoy the view of the surrounding area.
  • As you ride the Agassiz Triple to the summit, you can stop at Midway where the terrain is of a more intermediate nature or continue to the top where the terrain changes to advanced. Here you’ll enjoy advanced terrain featured on Upper Ridge, White Lightening and Upper Volcano.
  • There is wonderful terrain to be found if you get off at Midway and make the journey to the base where the runs of Volcano, Lava, Ridgeway or Agassiz meet.
  • If you need extra room to practice your skills, wide-open gentle terrain awaits on the green slopes of Hart Prairie, Aspen Meadows and Santa Fe. These areas are serviced by separate chairlifts to make your day that much more enjoyable.
  • Terrain Park more your style, Arizona Snowbowl has the Sunset Terrain Park, which is home to a series of parks, starting with the Prairie Dawg Start Park, then progresses to the Pocket Progression Parks found on Southern Belle which host a range of features. Finally, there is the Sunset Terrain Park equipped with all the jumps, rails, boxes and jibs to challenge and entertain the most seasoned park adventurer.
